Tercer disco de esta banda francesa de black metal Azziard y que nos hace llegar su disquera Malpermesita recs. una label que apenas va comenzando pero se nota su profesionalismo hasta en sus promocionales.
Son 10 temas de un black metal muy bien ejecutado, con algunos toques de death que por momentos me recordó a grupos como Behemoth o Belphegor, pero Azziard suenan mcuho más frescos.
En algunas canciones las líricas combinan inglés y francés, otras son completamente cantadas en su idioma natal por lo que me cuesta un poco de trabajo entender el concepto del disco (si ya sé que esta el google translator.-Ed.) pero al parecer tiene que ver con la psique humana, visto por el lado más obscuro y tétrico por supuesto.
Metempsychose es un álbum agresivo y técnico, con su exacta dósis de malignidad en cada uno de los temas, de los que destacan L'enfer, Le meurtre du héro, Archétype
y Le Sacrifice
en los que hubo colaboracion en las vocales de parte de Julien Truchan (Benighted) y de Psycho (Antilife) así escucharemos algunos gruñidos y pig squeals de vez en cuando. Los riffs son violentos y la batería hyper rápida, por ratos te sientes un tanto saturado pero después de los 52 minutos en total de reproducción, sientes la necesidad de repetirlo para digerirlo mejor.
Tengo que decir que Metempsychose es un álbum bastante bueno que no se puede pasar por alto, la edición oficial salió como un digipack de edición límitada, pero nos conformaremos con la copia promocional que también es de mucha calidad, black meraleros apúntense que no saldrán decepcionados. 9/10
